There is a lot to do to keep the churchyard flora under control, provide access to the graves for those who wish to visit, and help the churchyard remain a dignified, pleasant and quiet place for all. All volunteers welcome, even if you are only available for a short time.There is always a coffee break mid-morning in church to keep you warm on the coldest of days. With the ever-popular bacon and cheese rolls, as well as home-made soup and other light refreshments. Also, home-made cakes for sale, Christmas gifts, Sherston’s Brussels sprouts, plus tombola and raffle. We’ll have mulled wine on sale too – to get you into the Christmas spirit! If you are able to donate cakes, raffle prizes or produce, such as home-made jams or chutneys, please bring them along to the village hall on Saturday 28 November from 10.00am.
