Sherston Parish Council has a number of specialised working groups which are small, focus groups of councillors and sometimes members of the public.
They provide detailed advice and gather information on specific issues for the main council. They address particular issues, projects or tasks that require more focused attention than the full council meeting can provide.
The size and composition of these working groups will vary depending on the nature and scope of the task at hand.
Sherston Parish Council working groups hold meetings to discuss progress, make decisions and take action in pursuit of the working groups objectives. These meetings can be either on a regular basis or called for a particular issue that may have arisen.
Our current working groups are as follows along with their councillors.
